Welcome to TECHMANA!

If you don’t know who I am, that’s fine.  If you do know who I am that is even better.  Either way, let me be the first to welcome you to the new home of Mike Rozlog – TECHMANA.

As you most likely guessed my days at Borland/Inprise/Borland/CodeGear/Embarcadero are now complete and I’m on a new journey to find some exciting new technology to work with.

This does not mean, in any way, that I’m not a huge fan of the tools likeDelphi, JBuilder, InterBase, RadPHP, ER/Studio, etc.  I love those products and will continue to write about, explain how, and be a cheerleader for them.  It does however, mean that a lot more of the other views and products will be getting looked at.

Some of the areas that will be covered in future posts:

  1. History of Programming
  2. Cloud – I love Amazon’s EC2
  3. The Great Squeeze – Apple and the dreaded buy button
  4. The Methodology Shame – as I see it
  5. All things new

Hopefully after you read my next few posts I will become a regular on your blogging path.  If you have suggestions for content or need explanations about how things work in technology, business, and sales, don’t hesitate to send a comment or email me at

So head over to the Blog Area and see what I’m talking about now!

More to come…

Let me be the first to say I’ve followed from your Borcadero blog and will be following this new one with interest. Good luck on the journey to find your new niche.

Good to hear from you after the leave.

Hope you are going to start with some holidays. Maybe more use of holidays would help people gain more force for a new period of work.
Fortunately, here we are obliged to take at least 4 weeks off a year, after 60 it is at least 5 week.

It’s refreshing and give you some time to reconsider problems at work and how to solve them.

“Catagories” widget on the right column of the blog looks strange…
